Cross Country Home Services - SEARS HOME PROTECTION PLAN IS CROSS COUNTRY
WORSE SERVICE PLAN IN THE WORLD! I purchased a Sear Home Protection Plan and ended up contacting the Atty General about my denial of coverage from CROSS COUNTRY!!
My plan covered ALL plumbing issues...including rust. Tub would not drain and was backed up! Had original cast iron "drum pipe" drain from early 1950's, which had seized due to rust/age! There was no way to "clean out" the drum pipe.
My plan states repair or replace. Sears/Cross Country REFUSED TO replace and only offered $100 to "clean out" a SEIZED drum pipe. I HAD TO PAY A PLUMBER OUT OF MY POCKET FOR THE REPAIR!!!!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! DO NOT BUY SEARS HOME PROTECTION PLAN!!!
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $1150.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
Cross Country Home Services Pros: Over the phone customer service and supervisor attention.
Cross Country Home Services Cons: Claim denied for fabricated reason.

Cross country insurance is the worst insurance you could possibly have! Youโre better off buying a new appliance versus these clowns!
